Community Guidelines

At Freeela, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment for all members of our community. These Community Guidelines set out the standards of behaviour and content expected from users of the Freeela app and platform.
Our goal is to enable genuine local connections while protecting users from harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content. By using Freeela, you agree to follow these Guidelines, which work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Freeela may review, moderate, or remove user-generated content where necessary to ensure compliance with these Guidelines, protect user safety, and uphold the integrity of our community.
Public Profile Content
When you use Freeela as a service provider or business, you may submit information that is intended to be shared publicly on your profile or listings. This may include (but is not limited to):

Profile photo
-
Services offered
-
Business promotions
-
General location
By submitting this content, you consent to its public display within the Freeela app and platform. This information is visible to other users to enable service connections and local engagement. Please avoid including sensitive or private information in your public profile content.
User-Uploaded Photos, Moderation, and Third-Party Content

When users upload photos to their profiles, images are automatically reviewed using Google Vision AI to help detect potentially inappropriate content. Automated moderation is not perfect, so Freeela also provides a reporting mechanism for users to flag content for manual review.

If an AI moderation alert is triggered, Freeela administrators may access and review the flagged post or related content to determine whether it violates these Guidelines.

Users may personalise their profiles with GIFs sourced from GIPHY. The use of GIPHY content is subject to GIPHY’s Terms of Service. Freeela does not control or curate third-party GIPHY content.
Access to Messages and Communications
To help keep Freeela safe and fair for all users, we may access and review private communications exchanged through the platform only when reasonably necessary, such as:

Resolving disputes between users

Investigating fraud, scams, or misuse

Access to communications is strictly limited to authorised Freeela staff and is not used for general monitoring.
Enforcement of Guidelines
Freeela reserves the right to remove or restrict any content, posts, profiles, or communications that violate these Community Guidelines or our Terms of Service. Repeated or severe violations may lead to suspension or permanent account removal.
